The former president's Granddaughter Gets Expert Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of Professional Golf Debut

Young golfer getting ready for significant tournament

The rising star boasts impressive social media audience

Kai Trump will have plenty of well-known supporters as she starts her LPGA debut later this week.

This teenage golfer, who is connected to a former US president, was granted a sponsor's invitation to compete at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

The former president, a passionate golfer, operates multiple golf courses and regularly matches against his granddaughter.

"He's pretty good. I can't reveal details but we have tight competitions," she stated.

She mentioned that Trump, who won't be present, counseled her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"He basically suggested to compete and have fun," she continued.

"In my eyes, he's just a normal grandpa. He can't make it for the tournament. He's occupied with presidential duties, making him quite busy."

While still amateur, Kai has competed in just three tournaments recently and has ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association listings.

But she's able to get advice from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Kai's mother.

"He represents the best player globally," Kai stated.

"Additionally, he's an even better person. He suggested me to compete, relax, following whatever happens."

She'll challenge several the biggest names in professional golf at the Annika, featuring second-ranked the champion, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Tournament organizers stated that Kai's presence brings the sport to different demographics, especially with the next generation.

The young star has millions of followers and recently launched a personal clothing and lifestyle label.

The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
